Donate via our webstore set-up: You can donate via our webstore system, using the provided link below. You can pay by PayPal or cheque/money order, or by credit card, but via credit card is not that great for small donations, since our credit card processor and the credit card companies take about $4 right off the bat. So, the practical minimum here is 10 bucks, of which we will get about 6 bucks, the rest going to the other parties.
iTunes Music Store!
We now have an affiliation with iTunes Music store! Purchase a song or album from iTunes using our link and Apple will give us 5 percent of the sale. So that's a nickle a song to keep us rocking along! Here are the links:

Free Download: Single of the Week. Only at iTunes
We are also affiliated with Amazon.com, so if you do shop there, you can shop through this link, and help support our work at the same time. We also have a page of Geek-related books up.
And we also now have an Amazon.ca affiliation for our Canadian fans. :-)
And we also now have an Amazon.UK affiliation for our UK fans!
What's a good number?
Well, any amount at all would be very much appreciated. Perhaps you think our work is worth a buck, perhaps worth a few dollars a month, or maybe more. Think about whether you would care at all if this website wasn't here, or our work was not available for free viewing like it is. Would you miss this place?
Your support is very much appreciated and helps us Keep on Geekin'. When someone takes the time, energy, and moolah to give us a tip, we also receive a humungous emotional lift!
What will my donation be going towards?
It costs real money to keep our site up and running... our hardware, the hosting, the bandwidth and all the other costs of maintaining this site and its two creative human components. It's a lot of work, but chances are good we can keep doing this if we can get some support from the people who visit us each day, either via people buying our merchandise, or via donations.
We try to provide you with some pretty darn good entertainment and diversions. The Joy of Tech, AY2K, the polls, the rest of Geek Culture, the Forums, cool links, and a lot more. It is, in our humble opinion, pretty good stuff that looks great too.
If you enjoy our work and this site, and can spare a few bucks, then please, see if there's anything you would like at the webstore, or perhaps donate what you think we're worth to you. It's just pretty much just the two of us doing all this, and we work more than full-time to provide the content here. We'd like to continue doing it, ...you can help.
Why don't you just support the site via advertising?
We do get income from advertising, although that income averages just a few hundred dollars a month. We'd love to find more sponsors, and we don't think advertising has to be evil. If used properly, it can work great for all parties.
If you are interested in promoting your goods and services, we can offer some amazing advertising rates and a great market. We have and have had a number of great sponsors, from the ones you see everywhere, to smaller developers like RoadTools, Boinx Software, and Take Control Books, that realize the value of our great rates and audience. Or perhaps you'd just like to advertise your own site, your homepage, say hi to your girlfriend via a web banner, or sponsor the comics for a month or so. Just let us know, ... we are highly adaptable and would love to work with you! :-)
We don't expect to make a lot with donations, and we don't want to have to depend on them, but they do help, and in more ways than one. In all seriousness, the thought really does count. We know how much you have to care about something to make a donation, so when one does arrive, however small, that really perks up our spirits, and, quite honestly, makes our day. :-)
What else can I do?
There are lots of other things you can do to support our work, besides buying stuff, bookmarking us, and visiting us as often as you can. Tell some friends about the site, add our amazing self-updating thumbnail to your webpage, post a link on a message board, spread the word via word of mouth, write your favorite magazine and suggest they run the Joy of Tech, or *gasp*, even find us some advertising! With your help the fun will continue well into the future. :-)
Thanks!
